"Reflections II" - Original Framed Oil Painting

18x24" original oil painting (framed). 

My paintings, "Reflections I" and "Reflections II" were inspired by the curiosity of a 4 year old I met when I traveled back home to Minnesota. He had a million questions for me. 

"Why is the grass so green? How do horses grow so big? Why are the clouds so fluffy?"

His enthusiasm inspired me to look at the mundane things around me with a fresh perspective.

I woke up the next day and saw the sun shining through 2 colorful plant misters on my windowsill. I thought back to the 4 year old's perspective. I smiled and thought he'd probably ask, "why can we see through glass? How is it colorful? Why does the shadow look like that?"

I excitedly snapped a few photos of the beautiful reflections and took them home to my art studio.
