How often do you quiet your voice out of fear? Fear of being wrong, embarrassing yourself or offending someone by mistake?

I know I do.

Oftentimes I stay quiet about things that matter to me because I worry about how someone MIGHT react. Can you relate?

I wonder, “if I say what I’m thinking will I hurt their feelings, or will they disagree with me?”

But the older I get, the more I realize we were all born with a voice. One that was meant to be heard. Not everyone will care about what you value, or what you have to say. And that is perfectly fine. We can often learn from each other when we disagree.

The important thing is to remember to use YOUR voice. Use it lovingly, respectfully, and as authentically as you can. We’re only here for a short time, so make yourself known.
