"Little Buckaroo" painting 2

A few months ago I asked my social media followers for reference photos of kids playing or working on the farm, and they delivered! I received hundreds of photos. I have to say, it was very difficult to whittle it down to just 12.

This little buckaroo made the cut right away. As soon as I saw it I thought of my little brother wearing his oversized hat and little spurs when we were kids.

8x10" original oil painting on cradled panel.
